Here are just a few pictures from my fabulous weekend in Stratton, Vermont at Wanderlust. No, it's not the new Jennifer Aniston movie about a nudist hippie commune. But close. It's a yoga and music festival co-created by Schuyler Grant (the founder of Kula Yoga Project) and it's an incredible amount of fun, delicious (and wonderfully healthy) food, great yoga taught by world renowned yoga teachers and chill music bundled up into four days in the mountains. I was like a kid in a candy store all weekend, wandering through the village, checking out all the booths (food, jewelry, art, tarot card readings, henna, thai massage, yoga gear, yoga clothes), getting my hair braided, doning fake tattoos (which I incidentally cannot wash off and they read "Exhale Only Love" and "peace paz shanti"), getting "gonged," watching people hula hoop and do yoga at the same time, listening to inspiring talks, and, of course, spending a lot of time on my mat practicing yoga. I highly, highly recommend it. There are three more Wanderlust festivals this summer in Colorado (Copper Mountain), Northern California (Squaw Valley) and Whistler, Canada - so if you happen to live nearby, check it out. Otherwise, put it on your calendar for next year.
And check out this video, which pretty much sums up the Wanderlust experience (courtesy of the Wanderlust organization):
